As a recent journalism graduate, I found myself to be one of few graduates who took an interest in online news, web design and web usability.
This cannot be the case if we want to realize the truly sick potential of the Internet and mobile communication. This is a call to journalism programs across the country and teachers, in high school and higher education, to push students and the industries where they'll work to be part of the innovation and to help formulate some best practices for conveying information online.
How can we tell stories, connect our communities and improve life with new ideas? Craigslist, Flickr, Facebook and Newsvine are just the beginning.
I hope this blog of sorts will help stimulate discussion on a broad base of web-related topics. Please leave your comments, suggestions or cool links so we can share with others.

It's a "publication about web design and standards." Look at the amazing things you can do with xhtml and css. If your site is built with tables, it's time to change.
